This is a night of short form puppetry for adults, and promises to be a fun time had by all. We are very excited about the opportunity to share such a fun and transcendent art form with Asheville. Puppetry is not just for kids - it can be moving, hilarious, risqué, heart breaking, taboo, thought provoking, and sincere to any audience.

This
year our first slam featured members of the newly formed “puppet club” as
performers. They had been invited to be
a part of the action at our 2011 slams, “Puppet Club” was started last year as
a venue for people in Asheville who are excited about puppetry to get involved
and make their own shows, share and learn information, or just be enthusiasts!
