The Singing Picture
Show is committed to presenting and promoting cantastoria as a contemporary
puppet practice mixing music, object theater and traditional forms of picture

incorporates cantastoria traditions remaking them and transforming them into
puppetry that sings its stories.

DETAILS: To our knowledge we are the only group that is organizing shows specifically of cantastoria. As Banners and Cranks we have been presenting festivals of cantastoria performance in the form of cabaret-style evenings. The Singing Picture Show draws on our expertise in presenting evenings of diverse puppetry, featuring artists who have appeared in past festivals showcasing new work.
